VIDEO: Three people and a dog made it out safely after a house fire broke out at a Salt Lake City home early Wednesday morning. Salt Lake City firefighters say they arrived at the scene at 232 East 900 South within minutes of the call. They were able to quickly put out the fire, which had started in the wall of the house. "We always recommend that occupants of all homes have smoke alarms," said firefighter Kevin Kochevar on the scene. "That's how these guys were notified of a problem here, and that's what got the quick response from the fire department and saved some lives." Firefighters estimate the damage around $100,000-$150,000.
