Five people were injured Tuesday after a man plowed his car into the Bank of America Kemps River building off Indian River Road, barely missing an employee’s desk. Virginia Beach firefighters received word of the crash – at the intersection of Fordham Drive and Center Lane – shortly after noon, said department spokesman Art Kohn. The driver crashed into the right, front side of the brick building and was trapped inside the station wagon by debris for about 10 minutes, according to the fire department.
