The Warrenton Volunteer Fire Co. has received a complaint from a citizen who received a phone call soliciting donations for organization, according to Chief Jason Golden. The citizen’s caller ID displayed the fire department’s name and phone number, Chief Golden added. “The WVFC has not authorized any individual or organization to solicit donations by telephone,” he added. “Once a year the WVFC will operate our annual mailer picture fund drive.
