No one was injured in a Wednesday evening house fire on Link Road in Bedford.
At 5:28 p.m., multiple emergency crews from Bedford, Moneta and Forest responded to the blaze at 1545 Link Road, the residence at Robertson Equipment. The fire was under control by 6 p.m., Bedford County Fire Marshal Jeff Pauley said. The house suffered significant damage, Pauley said; the back porch and kitchen were largely burned, and the dining room and an upstairs bedroom also suffered fire damage.
