Warren County supervisors approved funding this week to help put more emergency responders in a volunteer fire and rescue station. The Board of Supervisors voted Tuesday to approve a motion to hire two firefighters-emergency medical technicians to staff two of three shifts at the South Warren Volunteer Fire Station in Bentonville, 24 hours per day, at a cost of $56,222. The county would use funds from the budget reserves for contingencies to cover the cost.
