We're told a firefighter suffered heat exhaustion after battling a house fire alongside other crews in Hampton. According to tweets from the Hampton Fire Department, crews performed overhaul on a home in the 2100 block of N. Mallory St. at 10:20 a.m. Authorities say eight people were at home at the start of the fire, but none of those residents were hurt. The firefighter who suffered heat exhaustion was treated on scene. The department also released video showing smoke billowing from the home.
