Fire crews responded to a building that caught fire on Otter Hill Road in Bedford early Tuesday morning. Bedford County Fire Marshal, Jeff Pauley said the call came in just around 6:30 a.m. from a neighbor and the first truck was on the scene about 10 minutes later. He said the building was on about 13-14 acres of property and hadn't been used in several years. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but Pauley said it was most likely caused by lightning. The fire was under control by 7 a.m.
