The Roanoke Valley is coming together to say goodbye to a firefighter who was killed last Friday while working on the job. Roger Johns was a member of the Eagle Rock Volunteer Fire Department who many said will be truly missed. A gymnasium full of his peers said Roger Johns won't be forgotten anytime soon. The way he lived his life is leaving a lasting impact on others. "If this world were filled with Roger Johns this world would be a better place," said Skylar Linthicum, family friend.
