Firefighters quickly extinguished a fire Thursday morning at a Manassas-area apartment building, but the damage has displaced 14 residents, according to the Prince William County Department of Fire and Rescue.
Firefighters responded to the report of a fire at 10:24 a.m. at the Woodburn Apartments in the 7800 block of Keara Court, fire and rescue spokesperson Kim Hylander said.
Smoke and fire were showing from the side of the apartment and had extended into the home, but a sprinkler helped contain the fire until units arrived.
