Firefighters put out a 2-alarm house fire Thursday evening off of the Prince William Parkway. Crews arrived to find the garage fully involved at the home in the 6300 block of Hemlock Ridge Court, according to county fire and rescue officials. No one was home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported. The home suffered extensive damage and six residents were displaced. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
