Dog rescued from Hampton residential fire

Hampton Fire and Rescue had to rescue a dog from a residential fire on Saturday. Fire Engine 7 reported to the 0 block of Eastmoreland Drive at 4:13 p.m. Firefighters found light smoke coming from the front of the home. All occupants were reported to be out of the house, except a dog. The canine was rescued during the initial search for victims inside the structure. Crews made an aggressive offensive attack on the fire and the fire was contained and extinguished in approximately 15 minutes.
