Two side roads in Harrisonburg will be closed for a few hours Wednesday afternoon as fire crews respond to a house fire.
Sometime after noon, a neighbor called 911 about smoke pouring out of the windows of a home along Roosevelt St., not far off of Rt. 42 near Harrisonburg Gospel Assembly.
When firefighters arrived, they found that no one was home. The fire marshal is still working to determine a cause.
According to Harrisonburg's spokeswoman, the surrounding areas of New York Ave. and Roosevelt St. will be closed "for a while."
