The Danville Life Saving Crew doesn't get snow snow days, plus they've been pretty busy since the storm hit.
Niw, the Danville Life Saving Crew and Danville Fire Department are joining forces to make sure they're getting to folks in need in these slick conditions.
Sue Glass had a serious health emergency in the midst of Sunday's storm, and had almost lost hope until help arrived.
"Have you met strangers that became your family," Glass asked. That is how she describes the first responders who showed up Sunday when she thought she was having a stroke.
"I couldn't move on my right side," Glass said.
Glass lives with her sister Joylette Vereen, who helps to take care of her.
When Vereen saw the snow building up she didn't know how she was going to get her sister the help she needed.
