The fire chief with Dooms Volunteer Fire Department says no one was injured after a fire broke out at a house in the 100 block of Loop Circle in Crimora Wednesday evening. Officials say two people were at home at the time of the fire, but they were able to get out to safety. According to fire officials, the fire started in the chimney, and then spread to the second floor of the home. "Clean your chimney. That's the biggest thing, two and three times a year," said Dooms Volunteer Fire Chief, Mike Fisher. "A lot of people are burning greenwood from the ice storm and that don't do nothing but stop up chimneys."
