A court date for a Loudoun County fire captain involved in an alleged drunken driving crash while using a county vehicle has been set for January.
Montgomery County, Maryland, police said Loudoun Fire and Rescue Capt. Brandon Billingsley was involved in a three-car crash around 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 11 in Damascus, Maryland. Billingsley was operating an unmarked county vehicle and was off duty, according to spokeswoman Laura Rinehart of Loudoun County Fire and Rescue.
The captain faces five charges, including negligent driving in a careless and imprudent manner, failure to drive on right half of roadway, driving while under the influence, driving while impaired and failure to immediately stop at the scene of accident involving bodily injury.
