The funeral arrangements for an 11-year-old who battled cancer for four years have been finalized for this upcoming week.
Landon Martin succumbed to his illness on May 10, after a hard fought battle.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 15 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Tharp Funeral Home at 220 Breezewood Drive in Lynchburg.
The funeral service will be on Wednesday, May 16 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hyland Heights Baptist Church on 11452 Wards Road in Rustburg.
Landon's family says all are welcome to attend.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Evington Volunteer Fire Department, where Landon was an honorary firefighter, or to Childlife which helps families dealing with childhood illness.
Landon's family described him as a pure-hearted and caring little boy, who was always smiling.
