The Chesterfield County Fire Marshal is trying to figure out what started a fire at a home early Monday morning. Crews were called to the 4400 block of Adelaide Avenue around 12:38 a.m. and saw smoke pouring out of the house. Firefighters on scene tell 8News the flames were contained to one upstairs bedroom. The residents heard the smoke alarms and made it out safely, fire officials say. They are able to continue staying in the home.
