A Farifax woman called firefighters Monday night to report that her laundry room was on fire. Loudoun County Fire and Rescue tells WDVM that first responders found a lot of smoke in the apartment on the 200 block of Huntington Square. Officials say the fire appears to have originated in the dryer. According to police, no one was injured, but apartments on the floor below did suffer some water damage. The scene was cleared around midnight.
