Sentencing has been delayed for the Charlottesville man who became unhinged when his graduate research papers were caught in a hotel fire and attacked a firefighter keeping him out of the burning building. Victor Andrei then led police on a car chase before getting caught, arrested and convicted. Now, in a move that would reduce all of his charges to misdemeanors, Andrei is working to prove that he can stay well-behaved and prosecutors want a few more months of proof before agreeing to the deal. Andrei will be back in court in January.
