FEMA assessment teams on the ground in New Hampshire, Vermont this week

Assessment teams from the Federal Emergency Management Agency will be in New Hampshire and Vermont this week to look at damage from last week's wind storm. State emergency management officials say New Hampshire has in excess of $14.2 million in estimated damages. The greatest amount of damage is in Carroll, Coos, Grafton, and Hillsborough counties. FEMA teams were scheduled to start Tuesday in Bartlett. The FEMA assessment is set to begin Wednesday. Vermont officials say they have identified more than $4.5-million in public infrastructure damage. The state's request asks for assessments in Addison, Chittenden, Essex, Franklin, Grand Isle, Lamoille, Orange, Orleans, Washington, and Windham counties.
