A propane tank exploded Friday night in Williamstown. Firefighters say they got a call around 7:30 p.m. Seven crews responded, it took around an hour to put out. Officials tell Local 22 & Local 44 that someone was trying to keep the tank warm, with a blanket around it and a light shining on it. Firefighters say the owner heard a boom from the tank exploding. No one was hurt, but there was significant damage to a nearby home.
