A volunteer firefighter has been charged with child rape for allegedly having sex with a 15-year-old girl inside the Ravensdale Fire Station.
On August 24th, 22-year-old Zachary Cadiente invited the girl to the Ravensdale Fire Station, where he lives, to play video games, according to court records.
Prosecutors say Cadiente and the teenager were family friends who had grown closer in recent months.
On the night of the alleged crime, the girl snuck out of her house and arrived at the fire station to meet Cadiente and play video games. They later had sex in the Cadiente's sleeping area, according to prosecutors.
The victim later recounted the night's events to King County sheriff's detectives, who then arrested Cadiente at the fire station.
Cadiente was charged with one count of third degree rape of a child.
