Flames damage N. Spokane home for second time

The Spokane County Fire Department is investigating a house fire that happened on North Highwood Court near Mead High School early Tuesday morning. Spokane Co. Fire officials said the home originally caught fire on Monday afternoon. Three people and a dog were able to get out safely officials told KREM 2 News. At the scene, the driveway can be seen full of personal belongings. Fire crews are investigating a house that caught fire for the second time in as many days. Officials said the home had flames burning in the basement, the attic, and the ground level. The home is a complete loss, authorities said. The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing. Officials do not suspect foul play
