Nearly $20,000 was raised for local charities at the annual "Battle of the Badge" basketball game Saturday held at Whitman College in Walla Walla say city officials. Walla Walla city officials say the Walla Walla Fire Department played the Walla Walla Police Department in the 4th Annual charity game, benefiting local charities. The city says the police department was playing for the Blue Mountain Action Council's pro-bono legal program and the fire department was playing to benefit the YMCA's Community Center for Youth.
