The Lincoln County Sheriff confirmed 11 primary and secondary structures have been lost to the Hart Fire along Hart Road, Teel Hill Road and Cayuse Cove.
Officials said 3,000 acres on the Lincoln County side of the fire have burned, as well as 3,000 acres on the Wellpinit side. Reports state there is 0% containment of the fire at this time.
Level 3 evacuations have been issued for the Lincoln County area due to the wildfire.
The evacuations are in place for residents near Hart Road, Porcupine Bay, Sand Flats and Cayuse Cove.
Level 2 evacuations are also in place east of Mill Canyon. This means you should be ready to leave at a moment's notice.
Emergency management officials said the entire town of Wellpinit was on a level three evacuation as of 11 p.m. on Sunday.
Areas east of the fire including Green Canyon, Mill Canyon, Bald Ridge and other nearby areas should remain on alert.
Authorities said the fire has jumped the Spokane River and is burning tribal land. They said the fire is threatening homes and timber.
