Crews worked Friday to control a wildfire burning in Anacortes. The Cranberry Creek fire burned approximately 13 acres on a steep hillside according to the Department of Natural Resources. An eight-person crew responded to the fire early Friday, with 20 more expected to report later in the day. It is unclear if any homes are threatened by the blaze.
