A fire ripped through a Kent home Tuesday afternoon and displaced a family, fire officials said. The fire happened at 26700 40th Avenue South. A power line fell onto one of the responding fire engines, hampering efforts. Red Cross responders will assist the family displaced by the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
