A large SUV and motor home flipped over on Highway 101 near Olympia on Tuesday, trapping two people inside the SUV until they were rescued by emergency responders, officials said. Three children also were pulled from the wreckage. In all, seven people sustained minor injuries in the crash, which backed up traffic on Highway 101 west of Olympia for over an hour. State troopers, firefighters and medics all responded to the scene, near the interchange with Highway 8, at about 1 p.m. after receiving report of a serious crash. A Chevy Suburban and large motorhome were found lying upside down on the freeway. Emergency personnel pulled three children - a 4-year-old, 6-year-old, and 14-year-old - from the Suburban. The parents of the children were trapped inside the Suburban, but they were eventually extricated from the wreckage by firefighters. The parents and the three children sustained minor injuries, as well as two other people who apparently were in another vehicle.
