A fire destroyed a mobile home off Fruitvale Avenue Monday night and sent a Yakima man to the hospital with smoke inhalation according to firefighters. Crews say they arrived at the scene of the house fire at Regal Estates of Fruitvale Avenue around 5:50 p.m. Monday night and found the back of the home engulfed in flames. A neighbor named Del says he saw smoke coming from the home and called 911. Del says he also pulled the man inside out through the front door and onto the porch. Fire crews say they took the 60-year-old man who was home at the time of the fire to the hospital for smoke inhalation.
