Veteran firefighter, Deputy Fire Chief/Fire Marshal Frank Shasky is retiring from the City of Bothell today, Nov. 8. He has served at the City nearly 30 years.
“Frank set aside personal vacation plans to help manage the response and recovery from the Main Street Fire this summer and I’m very proud of him,” said Bob Jean, Interim City Manager. “He was a stabilizing force for the community in a difficult time.”
Shasky worked directly with Main Street businesses after the fire, reuniting them with items recovered from the ashes. He also served on the City’s Business Assistance Recovery Team, led by Emergency Management Coordinator Jennifer Warmke.
