Firefighters rescue three women trapped after crash in downtown Seattle

Three women had to be extricated from a vehicle after a crash in downtown Seattle Thursday night. The crash happened just before 11:00 p.m. at the intersection of 5th Avenue and University Street. The car was flipped on its side with a shattered windshield. Firefighters eventually rescued the three trapped women. They were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
