Clallam County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a 24-year-old convicted arsonist who escaped the Frank Lee Work Release Center in Alabama. Dylan Carroll escaped from the center in Deatsville, Ala., on Sept. 23, stole a 2016 Chevrolet pickup and drove to the Olympic Peninsula, according to a press release from the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office. Carroll is serving 13 years for setting fire to a hotel in Tallassee, Ala., in 2009, the Montgomery Advertiser reported. He was booked into the Clallam County jail Saturday for investigation of possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of a stolen firearm and for being a fugitive from justice in another state. He was taken into custody without incident in Port Angeles on Saturday.
