A missing Western Washington firefighter was last seen in Roslyn, authorities say.
Ken Ward, 43, has not been seen since Saturday, when he may have visited acquaintances in the Kittitas County town, said Tim Perciful, a spokesman for Auburn-based Mountain View Fire and Rescue.
Ward apparently mentioned that he would be traveling to Spokane, but his current whereabouts are unknown.
Ward has worked for Mountain View for 10 years, Perciful said.
Perciful said it would be unusual for Ward to disappear.
"It's really out of character for him. He's usually on time and pulls his shifts," Perciful said. Ward, who lives in Renton, was last known to be driving a white 2007 Dodge Ram MegaCab, with Washington firefighter license plate PF04426. He is about 6 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs 220 pounds.
