Two commercial dump trucks were lost in an early morning fire at 4292 Fey Road. Assistant Chief Mike DeRousie of Clallam Fire District No. 2 reported that firefighters responded to a 9-1-1 call placed by a mail or paper delivery person at 1:53 a.m. The address is a place of business of DA Development, a trucking company which DeRousie reported is owned by Bruce Gagnon and Sons. Port Angeles police told dispatchers that one dump truck was engulfed in flames and the fire had spread to a second truck parked next to it. DeRousie said Clallam firefighters arrived with nine firefighters, a water tender, a medical unit and command vehicles to extinguish the fire.
