Investigators believe a discarded cigarette left in a plastic trash bin led to a house fire in Skyway on Wednesday morning. At one point, Chopper 7 spotted flames shooting out of the roof of the home on South 126th Street, near the Skyway post office and library. Firefighters attacked the fire aggressively because they were not sure if anyone was trapped inside. Turns out, Josh Sum and his two roommates were at work when the fire began. "It's just awful what happened. It will be a shock but at least everybody's okay," Sum said. Sum found out about the fire because of social media. "My friend called me and said it's all on Snapchat that, hey your house is on fire," Sum said. "And then I'm out the door, and I was out the door of the office and came right here."
