Three people were rescued after getting stuck on the Skykomish River Wednesday evening. Firefighters were called just after 5 p.m. about two people whose tethered inflatable rafts became snagged on a tree and began taking on water, according to Heather Chadwick with Snohomish Fire District 7. A third person had gone into the water but had made it to shore. Rescuers from made it out into the river and successfully got all three into their rescue boat, Chadwick said. The two men and a woman were taken to the boat launch where medics treated them for slight hypothermia and the one who went into the water had a minor leg injury. None needed to be taken to a hospital.
