A worker was injured when he fell from a second-story apartment under construction in Lacey. Lacey Fire District 3 firefighters were called to the 8500 block of Martin Way after the man in his 20s fell off a balcony onto some rocks below at about 10:30 a.m. Thursday. No bones appeared to be broken, but he was in obvious pain, according to firefighters. He was transported to St. Peter’s Hospital. His condition is not known.
