The Woodland-area fire district levy passed, and voters in the district sent incumbent Jim Kellar and Dean Boon on to square off in the November general election.
The levy, which District 1 officials said is needed to replace aging equipment, got 64 percent of the vote in Tuesday’s primary election. It needed only a simple majority.
Chief Eric Dehning said he was grateful for the voters’ support. “Thank you for seeing the need,” Dehning said. “We really, really appreciate it.”
