Two people suffered minor injuries when a fire broke out inside their home Monday morning. Firefighters were called to the 4700 block of 26th Ave SW around 4:15 a.m. when a fire was reported in the home's kitchen. Flames eventually spread to a steel storage structure in the back yard. An elderly man and woman were inside the home and made it out safely, but had to be treated for minor smoke inhalation. A small dog is still missing.
