Three people were hurt when a crash sent an SUV into a deli and grocery shop in North Seattle Tuesday morning. Two Ford Explorers crashed in the 6400 block of 8th Ave NW in the Phinney Ridge Area. The impact sent one of the SUVs into the front of the nearby Choice Deli. The other vehicle narrowly missed crashing into a fire hydrant. Fire officials said a man and a woman in one Explorer, plus the driver of the other Explorer were taken to Harborview Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. Witnesses on the scene noted that both Explorers had dealer paper plates instead of standard license plates. Police are still investigating.
