The Spokane County Medical Examiner's office confirmed to KEPR Action News Thursday morning that 66-year-old Terry Keister, of Pasco, died after several days of hospital care following a fire on February 14th. The Medical Examiner said Keister died from an existing heart condition that was made worse from smoke inhalation and respiratory failure. Firefighters say Keister's motor home caught fire in the afternoon and neighbors rescued him from the home as flames consumed it. The fire eventually destroyed the home. Medics rushed Keister to Kadlec for immediate care. He was later transported to Sacred Heart Medical Center where he died on Wednesday afternoon.
