A man was seriously injured in a mobile home fire Friday morning in Kent, officials said. Firefighters responded to the 15400 block of Southeast 272nd Street in Kent after 7:30 a.m. after receiving reports of smoke spewing from a home there, said Capt. Kyle Ohashi of Puget Sound Fire & Rescue. Firefighters were told someone might be inside. Crews found the man and brought him outside. After performing CPR, rescue workers got a heartbeat. The man was taken to a hospital. The fire caused extensive heat and smoke damage in the double-wide mobile home. The fire is under investigation.
