Level 3 evacuations are in place in Grant County due to a large brush fire burning in the Upper Goose Lake recreation area north of Othello. Level 3 evacuations mean that residents must leave immediately. Deputies with the Grant County Sheriff's Office say the fire is burning in the wildlife refuge at Upper Goose Lake. The Sheriff's Office says the fire is not threatening any homes or businesses but is for people who may be hiking, fishing or camping in the area.ffice
