A fire at the top of a building near the U.S. Bank Plaza in downtown Bellevue caused a major response to the city early Thursday morning. Firefighters responded to the 10800 block of NE 8th St. to find flames coming from the top of a high-rise building there. Crews put out the fire over the course of several minutes, and they limited it to the penthouse there. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire was ruled to be electrical. NE 8th St. and 108th Ave. NE have since been reopened to traffic.
