It's a big week for local firefighters. Many of them are out training at their practice center fighting fire with fire.
"We could be called at any moment in time to do what we're doing here today," said Michael Hodo, a local firefighter.
Firefighters from six different agencies in our counties came together to train.
“The more we do this, the more we're prepared to do the real thing," said Hodo.
Hodo is one of 330 firefighters going this live-fire training, learning step by step how to handle the flames erupting and smoke billowing out of this shed.
