Fire Chief Bob Van Horne has announced his retirement, effective May 15, after 36 years in the fire service. Chief Van Horne has been Bothell's Fire Chief since 2009. He has served a total of 36 years in the fire service. The City has engaged a search firm to manage the selection process for a new Fire Chief. Interested parties must apply by June 2. Deputy Chief Jim Roepke will be interim Fire Chief.
