Benton County firefighters put out a fire this morning, which started as a controlled burn, but ended up destroying a mobile home, barn and some cars. Officials say that wind pushed one fire out of control on South 9 Canyon Road around 8:30 last night in Kennewick. They say it started at a mobile home, and then spread to a nearby barn. There are no injuries at this time. Crews say it took a long time for them to put out the fire due to the dangerous and flammable shop material in the barn.
