The 50 foot tall tree, plus the star, has been a hit since it made its first appearance in 2002. draft The annual tree lighting ceremony will happen on Friday, November 17. Santa, along with two live reindeer will light the tree at 7 p.m. as part of the 15-year-long tradition.
