No one is injured in a truck fire that spread to a garage Tuesday morning. Firefighters arrived at 308 S. 9th Street to find a vehicle on fire which had spread to a garage which was converted to a living space around 8:12 a.m. Tuesday. A father and his four-year-old son were inside the home at the time, but firefighters said they were both able to escape uninjured. Flames likely spread from or near the truck which was under a carport and quickly spread to the house, according to reports from the Yakima Fire Department (YFD).
