All this week local elementary schoolers are getting the chance to see what it's like to be part of the Clarkston Fire Department, and it's all part of an annual educational program. The program starts during fire prevention week, when the students are given a presentation on fire safety. They are then presented a theme and asked to draw posters. Four winners from each school are selected. Those students get picked up in the fire truck to have lunch provided by Sharp's Burger Ranch, and a tour of the station.
